You are full of content ideas and feel confident bringing them to life via new and emerging social media platforms.


Role Objective:

At Bravado Designs, our purpose is to inspire every new Mom to breastfeed and help support her to succeed in her breastfeeding journey.

We believe our success is dependent on the superior design in our products and a very strong collaboration and bond between our sales, design and marketing teams to deliver a great brand experience.

The newly created role of Engagement Specialist supports the Communications Manager across a variety of different projects and channels. The focus of this role is to support the coordination, creation and management of content for social platforms, blogs, and websites, as well as support public relations initiatives. Each of these tasks have the goal of driving engagement between Bravado Designs and our Moms.



Content Development for Social and Website


  • Organizing and creating monthly social content
  • Ad-hoc posts based on timely and relevant events ensuring Bravado is staying relevant, timely and responsive to our Moms’ needs
  • Support in content research and planning
  • Support in social shoot coordination, including the intake of post-shoot materials and organizing assets from photo shoots to support communication plans


  • Assist with writing of briefs and content, as well as managing and executing website communications, including but not limited to: landing pages, blogs, etc.


  • Assist in managing the development and execution of our ECRM Cadence of Communications both stage and trigger-based


Influencer Collaborations:

Influencer Program Management:

  • Support in planning and organizing influencer partnerships, giveaways and collaborations
  • Support in vetting influencer partnerships and organizing logistics between brand and collaborator
  • Coordination of product samples for the social/influencer/PR realms as directed
  • Compilation of insights from influencer traffic and providing information to Manager for analysis purposes


Qualifications & Technical Skills:

  • Post-secondary education with a focus in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or Business
  • Prior experience in a Marketing and/or Public Relations role is an asset
  • Prior experience working in an agency is an asset, with a specification around management of collaborations, partnerships and influencers
  • Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • A strong understanding of social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, social listening tools (Sysmos) and ECRM platforms
  • Working knowledge of scheduling tools (Later, Schedugr.am)
  • Experience with tracking and evaluating engagement on social and blog platforms
  • Skilled in finding and vetting influencers within specific categories
  • Strong writing skills for social, email and blog posts
  • Excellent interpersonal skills when interacting with bloggers/influencers
  • The following Public Relations skills and experience are an asset:
    • Writing a draft press release
    • Building and maintaining a media list
    • Performing outreach to media
